Celina burst on to the scene in the hallway of the Bellevue Washington hospital. She started her music career at an early age when her family relocated from Willingboro, NJ to Atlanta, Ga. The art of music runs deep in her veins so when she and her sister discovered the rapidly growing music industry in the south, they got to work. They started in professional girl groups and learned the ropes of the entertainment business and artistry. Celina attended Avondale school of Performing Arts and then joined the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation of Performing Arts where she worked diligently on her talents and education. This led to her promotion to Artistic Director where she taught the influences of Tupac, his poetry, and creative expression to hundreds of children for over seven years.
Another pivotal point in Celina's life came when she made a correlation between her music and her faith. She ministered at various churches and released an EP called Marked Ministry with the youth ministry of Stronghold Christian Church. Apart from her individual attributes like working with the likes of Natalie Cole, Ashford & Simpson, Gerald Levert, and tour managing for Jamie Grace, she has spent many years performing at several venues and events like Hard Rock Cafe, Stone Mountain Jazz by the Lake, Coca Cola Banquets and many more private shows.
Celina's music blood line resonates back to legendary musicians like Larry Blackmon with Cameo, Kenny Gamble and Craig White from Sound of Philadelphia Studios, Billy Ward and the Dominos, and Clara Ward and the Ward Singers to name a few. So music will never die for this talented woman. At this juncture, Celina has accepted her God-given purpose in music to be a driving force and advocate of peace, love, and unity to influence positive change in the world through her community activism and positive messing in her music.
